APPLE PIE BARS (HEALTHIER)
INGREDIENTS
- Crust: - 2 cups of almond flour 
- 2 tbsp of coconut flour 
- dash of salt 
- 1/3 cup of melted coconut oil 
- 1/3 cup or maple syrup 
- 1 tsp of vanilla 
 
- Filling: - 3 medium-sized apples, chopped 
- 1 tsp of cornstarch 
- 2 tbsp maple syrup 
- 2 tbsp coconut sugar 
- cinnamon (measure with your heart) 
- dash of salt and vanilla 
 
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, and line an 8x8 pan with parchment paper. 
- Mix all your crust ingredients until it forms a dough. Press evenly into your pan and bake for 20 minutes until lightly golden brown. 
- While your crust bakes, mix all your filling ingredients until all the apples are well coated. 
- When your crust is done, pour your filled over and bake at 350 for 45-50 minutes until your apples have softened and started to bubble. 
- Optional: mix Greek yogurt and maple syrup together and drizzle over the top!
